The Old Man Escapes from the Senior Citizen Home
"Goodnight Mr. Goldblatt," the nurse says as she turns out the light.
"Goodnight," the old man says, smiling. As soon as the door closes, he whips off his covers to reveal that he is dressed up. He sneaks into the hallway and out to the car where his other senior citizen friends are waiting. The song "Nosotros Somos Jovenes" starts to play as the car squeals off.
There is nothing like a senior citizen breaking the rules. Taco Bell did a great job of getting our attention at the beginning of the commercial and keeping it with the song playing.

First Stop- Someone's Pool
Now the old people are running and taking their clothes off. The old man from the nursing home jumps into a pool and a man comes and angrily chases them off.
I thought this scene was pretty funny. I could definitely see a whole movie featuring these trouble causing seniors! I would have liked to have seen how they got away from the man.

Fireworks on a Doorstep
Now we see a lit box of fireworks being set on someone's front porch. An old man plugs his ears as he walks away. He laughs as the fireworks explode and smoke fills the porch.
Fireworks on a doorstep is a classic prank. It's fun to see someone reverting back to their childhood ways.

It's Party Time! The Old People Go to a Club
Now the senior citizens are dancing in a club. One of them does a mean robot. There is a blacklight and foam falling from the ceiling and one old lady dances with the DJ. Another old woman makes a claw toward the camera.
Next is the make out scene. We first see a young couple making out, then the old couple doing the same. One of the old women comes out of a bathroom stall with her lipstick, acting guilty. A young man with a lip print on his cheek follows her.
As I watched the whole party scene, I can't help but think about how fun this scene must have been to tape! It is hilarious! I'm surprised that everyone was able to keep a straight face while filming it!

Car Jump, Window Smash and Tattoos, Oh My!
The senior citizen's car flies through the air and comes down with a thud, jolting them all, and the tires squeal as the car drifts sideways. We now see the main old man pressing his bare chest into the window of a fancy restaurant as he laughs. As if all of that trouble wasn't enough, Mr. Goldblatt gets his last name tattooed across his back and he grins.
Someone needs to reel these trouble makers in! They are out of control and I love it! What do you think of this crazy behavior? Hopefully it won't give anyone any ideas!

The Senior Citizens Go to Taco Bell
The group laughs in the back seat as they drive to Taco Bell. As they eat their tacos and burritos, a police car pulls up. They all look over trying not to act suspicious. A sauce packet is tossed at one of the old men who is passed out on the hood of the car. They squeal out of the parking lot and back to the Gleencobrooke Nursing Home. Mr. Goldblatt has his shirt off and his new tattoo showing.

What Was the Point of the Taco Bell Super Bowl Commercial?
The slogan for the Taco Bell 2013 Super Bowl commercial is Live Mas, meaning Live More. Although the exact point of the ad was not super clear, I believe it was that if you want to stay out late and have fun, Taco Bell will be open. The commercial did not make me crave Taco Bell, but it surely got me talking about the brand because the ad was so funny! Overall, I feel that they did a great job on their big game spot.
